This month marks a rather significant anniversary for us….

Five years ago, we began a very special chapter in our lives - taking ownership of the tennis at La Manga Club.

We knew from the very beginning that this was going to be about so much more than simply running a tennis facility. We wanted to create somewhere that people would genuinely love coming to. A place with energy, warmth and character. Somewhere where friends could meet, families could spend time together, new friendships could begin, and like-minded people could all feel part of something special.

The last five years have been a labour of love.

We have poured our time, energy, passion and dedication into the club, regularly working behind the scenes to transform it into the place we always believed it could be. We refurbished and reinvigorated the club, investing not only in the facilities themselves, but in creating an atmosphere and identity that feels welcoming, relaxed, fun and full of life.

But as we look back, it isn't the refurbishment that makes us most proud.

It is the people.

It is the laughter around the tables. The families spending time together. The friendships that have grown. The familiar faces who walk through the doors and feel at home. The new faces who come to the club and make friends they know they will see again.

It is the conversations, the celebrations, the sporting moments, the fun, the friendships and all those little memories that have made The Racquets Club what it is today.

Over these five years, the club has become so much more than a place to play sport or meet for a drink. It has become a community - a place built around friendship, family, fun and a shared love of being together.

We are extremely proud of how far we have come, and we are so grateful to our incredible team who have joined us on this amazing journey.

To our wonderful members, friends, families, supporters and everyone who has walked through our doors over the past five years - thank you.

Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for filling the club with laughter, friendship and memories. And thank you for helping us create the atmosphere and community that we dreamed about.

Five years on, we can honestly say that The Racquets Club has become a huge part of who we are.

And perhaps the greatest reward of all is seeing so many people enjoying it, connecting with one another and making memories together.

Here's to five incredible years of hard work, friendship, love and community — and to everything still to come.
